The section of the Via Dinarica route "Plasa – Jablanica" (STAGE 30, BH-W-05, Blidinje - Jablanica) is temporarily closed. The cause is the great devastation of the lower part of the trail, which was caused by the natural disaster that hit this area. Parts of the road have been partially or completely destroyed, so a robust intervention is required. Crews are already on the ground and this section is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction. If it goes according to plan, it is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025, about which the public will be informed in due course.
ALTERNATIVES:
- At the Hajdučka vrata, turn right down Stremenica to the bivouac on Žlijeb (open type, possibility of sleeping), from which you continue into the valley of Diva Grabovica (3-4 hours). From the valley of Diva Grabovica, take the asphalt road to the main road Mostar – Jablanica (approx. 3 kilometers), which will take you to Donja Jablanica (3 – 4 kilometers), cross the bridge and continue along the Via Dinarica trail over Prenj at Glogošnica.
- At the mountain house Plasa (closed, it is necessary to contact PD Plasa from Jablanica) turn towards the valley of Diva Grabovica (3 hours) and continue as in the previous variant.
